Project Description:

Automation of the natural gas transmission pipeline DN600 Ungheni – Chisinau, with a total length of 110 km, located on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, crossing the districts of Ungheni, Nisporeni, Calarasi, Straseni and Chisinau.

The automation and pipeline security systems will be located in:

 

  • Platform A Ungheni – by installing 2 measuring lines and integrating them into the existing gas measurement system;
  • SMRG Gas Pressure Measurement and Regulation Stations: Semeni, Petricani, Ghidighici;
  • SMRG + NMRG Tohatin;
  • Interconnection works on Platform C Todirești;
  • 6 groups of main and interconnecting valves R1, R3, R5, R6, R8, R10, R11;
  • 4 groups of secondary valves R2, R4, R7, R9;
  •  Execution of CCAMS Ghidighici.

 
Work duration: 9 months.
 
Work location: Republic of Moldova, total pipeline length 110 km, crossing the districts of Ungheni, Nisporeni, Călărasi, Strățeni and Chișinău.
 
Obstacles in the field: adverse weather (heavy rains) over a period of a month and a half. There were no other major obstacles.
 
CUSTOMER / COMMUNITY BENEFITS: The gas pipeline responds both to the safe supply of different consumption areas in the country, with benefit for the community, and to the creation of possibilities for natural gas transit through the transmission system of the Republic of Moldova.
