Remote control and monitoring system for substation energy consumption
SCADA/DMS system for electrification of the Romanian Railways, on sections pertaining to the Railway Energy Dispatch Centres in: Craiova, Targu-Jiu, Caransebes, Timisoara

Functionalities:
Remote control of approximately 160 local stations belonging to the Romanian Railway Company; DMS functionalities adapted to the specificities of the railways

Multiple communication protocols:
IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus RTU/TCP
Topological processing of the status of the catenary network

Dispatch centre:
4 local dispatch centres with redundant communication servers (FEC)

No. of RTUs/ Local points:
The system will collect date from approximately 100 RTUs

No. of process variables:
Approximately 25000DP, real, on-line

Communications:
Mixed solutions, based on data transport through optical fibre from local points to control dispatch centres: MPLS, VLAN, VPN
