SCADA/DMS system for high voltage power distribution network, medium voltage and high voltage substations in various transformation stages

 

Functionalities:
Full SCADA DMS features including complete MV and HV topological processing for all on-line and offline equipment and high level DMS features: power flow, short-circuit calculations, fault locator

Supply, installation and remote control solution for more than 1500 auto-reclosers and load disconnectors for the overhead distribution network

IED integration (TRUs and protection relays) from more than 15 different manufactures

Multiple communication protocols, e.g. IEC 60870-5-101, 103, 104, Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC61850

 

Specifications:
Dispatch Centres: 6 MV dispatch centres, 3 HV dispatch centres. Redundant front-ends (FEC) in each dispatch centre, central servers in Brasov and back-ups in other two locations

 

No. RTUs/Local points: more than 2000

 

No. of process variables:
~100 000 online DP
~80 000 topological elements (including remote switching elements from the Electricity Distribution Network)

 

Communications:
Mixed solutions, depending on each location: optic fibre, GPRS, conventional radio, MPLS, VSAT, etc.
